The Home Beer Tap system is a great addition! It doesn't take up too much space on the kitchen counter. When having friends over it's so nice to have the beer ready to pour in a glass. When having company we just ask them to pick up a mini keg to drink and everyone's happy! It helps that we all like Heineken. There's no cans or bottles to clean out after everyone leaves. Just throw the glasses in the dishwasher or throw the plastic cups away:-)

My husband loves the BeerTender. He could not wait to show it off. The only thing I don't like is it can get expensive because of the attachments being used to operate the BeerTender. Personally, I think the tube hook up should be able to be used more than once. I may not have bought it for my husband if I would have known this, even though he does love it.

I'm not sure about other's bad reviews in the past, but I got the Beertender for my husband for Christmas, and we have had no problems so far. He's a HUGE beer drinker, so this made for the perfect gift for him. He thinks it's great that every time he enters the kitchen, he can pour himself a cold one. I will say though, that I do agree with reviewer's comments about the "chrome" seeming cheap. It's nothing more than plastic and I do worry that one of these time while changing out the keg, it will break. But, thus far, no problems, in fact we both enjoy it!

I bought this kegerator for my boyfriend. He loved it except it only works with top-tapping kegs. Unfortunately, in our area you can't get anything other than Heineken and New Castle mini kegs with taps on top. I would check to see what kind of kegs are available in your area before you purchase.
